UNO Track and Field Ranks Fourth in Preseason Rankings

NEW ORLEANS, La. - The UNO indoor track and field team is ranked fourth in the annual pre-season rankings released by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association on Tuesday. The ranking come out in advance of the start of UNO's indoor season which begins on Friday, Jan. 14 at the Holiday Inn Invitational hosted by Nebraska.

2009-10 (Junior):

Indoors, was an All-American in the 400 m and 4x400 m relay...ran a personal best time of 55.45 in the preliminaries of the NCAA Championship and then finished fifth in the finals in a time of 55.64...teamed with Maja Mihalinec, Anja Puc and Shannon Moore to finish third at the NCAA Championship in the 4x400 m relay in a time of 3:45.84 on March 13...had a pr of 1:25.84 in the 600 yard dash at the Holiday Inn Invitational hosted by Nebraska on posted a personal season-best time of 7.90 in the 60m at the MIAA Championship on Feb. 27 and another personal season-best in the 200m at 25.32 at the Nebraska Tune-Up on Feb. 19...outdoors, was an All-American in the 4x400m relay after teaming with Maja Mihalinec, Anja Puc and Shannon Moore to finish fifth at the NCAA Championship in a time of 3:42.69...was part of UNO's season-best 4x400 m relay team with Puc, Moore and Pinar Saka, setting a school record time of 3:41.20 at the Drake Relays on April 24...set a pr in the 200 m with a time of 24.79 at the Doane College Relays on April 17 and had a pr in the 400 m with a time of 56.08 in the same meet.

2008-09 (Sophomore):

Competed during the indoor and outdoor seasons in the 200 m, 400 m, 4 x 400 and DMR…was a member of the National Champion indoor 4 x 400 team that finished in a time of 3:46.66 on March 17…recorded personal best times in the 200 m indoor with a time of 25.51 at the Nebraska-Lincoln Holiday Inn Invitational on Jan. 17 and in the 400 m indoor with a time of 57.31 at the Arkansas Razorback Invitational on Jan. 24…Indoor 4 x 400 team placed first at the NCAA Championships with a time of 3:44.66 on March 17.

2007-08 (Freshman):

Helped the 4x400 relay team finish eighth in the NCAA indoor championship to earn All-America status...finished fourth in the 400m race in the NCC indoor meet with a time of 58.08, a personal record...set a personal record with a time of 56.99 in the 400 meter indoor race at the NCC championship.

High School:

Class B state champion at 400m in 2006 posting a personal best time of :58.57...runner-up at state in the 400m event as a senior in 2007...holds school records at both 200m and 400m...coached by Tom Martin at Pierce HS.

Born May 1, 1989...parents are Darin and Kelli Koepke...has one sister, Krystina...majoring in social work.
